Hi, thanks for popping in!

My name is Madi or Max. I am a loving soul currently based in SoCal. My love of encouraging others is only matched by my love of plants 🪴

I have been practicing yoga for 10+ years, but consistently since 2018. I played volleyball for 10 years, year round, until I slightly tore ligaments in both my ankles. I felt completely defeated when I could no longer play which spiraled into depression. Eventually I started going to the gym and discovered a community yoga class. After taking the class I felt lighter and more agile. Yoga was a way for me to regain and rebuild strength in my own time and safely. Since then my daily practice has helped me through so much of life’s ordeals (i.e. stress, anxiety, self-doubt, excitement) and given me the tools to help others.

My teaching style reflects my personal practice - filled with compassion, patience, body awareness, and a sense of playfulness. My classes incorporate Vinyasa and Reiki with a focus of getting students to be present by connecting with their breath, to become aware of their bodies, and to flow in a way that helps them uncover their own strength, grace, healing abilities and infinite potential.
